Job Description
Our client has a new exciting role for an experienced Maintenance/Technical Operator, to work for one of the best manufacturing companies in the Portsmouth area, who pay competitive salaries, excellent benefits and a great working environment
To support production operations with the assembly and maintenance elements of our client’s product ranges, for this role the ideal will have a manufacturing maintenance background.
Hours: Double Days, Monday – Friday – 6am – 2pm and 2pm – 10pm alternating weekly.
Responsibilities:
To have the ability to perform first line fault finding, basic equipment calibration, set up and routine maintenance.
Maintenance of manufacturing machinery.
Be able to read, understand and follow all required documentation. Ie. SOP’s, QCP’s, Product and Technical drawings.
To achieve the targets and quality standards set out by Production Management.
Have the ability to work with cross functional and mixed ability teams.
Provide daily support to meet customer’s daily expectations
Ensure that regular communication is maintained with the Production Leader to advise of any issues adversely affecting your performance, any quality/equipment issues must be raised in a timely manner.
Ensure critical issues are quickly recognised and resolved.
Maintain high levels of Health and Safety at all times.
