Are you ready to bring your financial acumen to the heart of a fast-paced manufacturing environment? We’re looking for a sharp, detail-driven Management Accountant to join our clients finance team and play a key role in driving operational excellence across the business.
About the Role
In your role as Management Accountant, you’ll work closely with both finance and production teams to bring numbers to life—transforming data into meaningful action. From analysing material and labour variances to producing key performance reports, you’ll be instrumental in helping the business stay on top of performance, costs, and compliance.

What You’ll Be Doing
• Partnering with production management to support Continuous Improvement through variance analysis (materials, labour, overheads)
• Leading the preparation of weekly and monthly performance reports for internal and group stakeholders
• Managing factory cost centre reviews, re-forecasting, and analysing overhead performance
• Maintaining and updating SAP BOMs and Master Recipes
• Supporting the appraisal of new product developments (NPD)
• Analysing purchase price variance, tracking inflation impacts and recovery
• Preparing accruals, prepayments, and performing key balance sheet reconciliations
• Assisting in financial forecasts, business planning, and year-end audits
• Delivering weekly cash flow forecasts and full-year cash projections
• Identifying opportunities for smarter, faster, and leaner financial processes
• Ensuring compliance with group-wide accounting policies and controls
• Supporting ad hoc projects and delivering insightful analysis to leadership
What We’re Looking For
• A background in management accounting, cost analysis, or finance business partnering—ideally in a manufacturing or production setting but other backgrounds considered
• Proficiency with financial systems
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and business partnering ability
• Comfortable working to deadlines and balancing multiple priorities
