An immediate role for a Management Accountant has arisen with an innovative and modern business in central Norwich. They operate on a flexible and hybrid basis.
The role is likely to run for 4-6 months, possibly longer.
You are responsible for:
Producing timely and accurate management accounts for multiple UK entities
Presenting month end reporting to the finance team
Support with year-end budget setting and re-forecasting
Providing monthly variance analysis, analysing results against budgets and forecasts
Completing balance sheet reconciliations, identifying and correcting any variances where relevant
Completing monthly revenue reconciliation
Preparing statutory accounts
Preparing bi-weekly cash flow forecasts
VAT return preparation, ensuring compliance with HMRC requirements
Completing other ad hoc statutory returns Skills required:
A financial professional with an accountancy qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) and 1+ years of post qualified experience
Comfortable and experienced in working in a fast-paced environment
Competent with Excel
Highly analytical, accurate and data driven
A great communicator and a critical link between the financial and non-financial worlds
