Job Description
MANUAL MACHINIST
We are recruiting for a Manual Machinist to work for our client who are located in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire.
THE DUTIES OF A MANUAL MACHINIST:
* Service and repair of motors , pumps , fans , gearboxes.
* Diagnose both mechanical and electrical faults on a range of equipment.
* Strip down parts , fault find , diagnose and repair.
* Assemble gearboxes.
* Work to deadlines
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCES & SKILLS:
* Minimum 2 years' experience working within a high precision manufacturing background.
* Read engineering drawings
* Manual Lathes
* Engineering background required
* Excellent communication skills.
* Excellent time keeping.
THE HOURS:
Monday – Thursday - 8.5 hours per day
Working hours: 7.30 – 16.30
Morning break 10.00 – 10.15
Lunch break 13.00 to 13.30
Friday – 6 hours
Working hours: 7.30 – 13.45
Morning break - None
Lunch break 11.00 – 11.30
THE PAY:
You will earn an hourly rate of between £14 to £15 an hour depending on experience.
