Supply Desk is currently seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Maths Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Hemel Hempstead. This full-time position begins either May half term or September, depending on the successful candidate’s availability. The role involves teaching Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, with a strong emphasis on academic excellence and student engagement.

Job Description:
Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated Maths lessons across KS3–KS5
Assess, monitor, and report on student progress to support achievement
Contribute to the development of schemes of work and the Maths curriculum
Maintain high standards of behaviour and a positive classroom environment
Collaborate with the Maths department and wider school team
Participate in school events, CPD sessions, and contribute to whole-school initiatives
Our ideal candidate will:
Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification
Have experience teaching Maths at KS3, KS4, and ideally KS5
Be passionate about Maths and committed to raising achievement
Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and classroom management skills
Be flexible, proactive, and a strong team player
Hold an enhanced DBS check or be willing to apply for one
