Maths Teacher - Hertford
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and committed Maths Teacher to join a successful, Ofsted-rated 'Good' Secondary School in Hertford on a full-time, permanent basis from September 2025. This role is ideal for someone eager to contribute to a well-established Maths department and make a lasting impact on student progress.

As a Maths Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential to teach at Key Stage 5 depending on experience and interest. Main Duties:
Teach Mathematics across a range of year groups in line with the national curriculum
Track and assess student achievement, providing effective feedback and adapting lessons accordingly
Take part in curriculum development and contribute to department-wide initiatives
Support a positive classroom culture with strong behaviour management
Engage in school-wide activities, CPD sessions, and staff meetingsEssential Criteria:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching Maths in UK secondary schools
Up-to-date Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
Strong Maths subject knowledge and a passion for teaching
