Job Description
This school is seeking a motivated and skilled Maths Teacher to join a dedicated and supportive Mathematics Department. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator to help students develop not only strong numeracy skills but also a deeper understanding and appreciation of mathematics. Beginning September 2025.
Duties as a Maths Teacher:
Teach Mathematics across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 desirable but not essential)
Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that cater to all learning needs
Monitor student progress and provide timely, constructive feedback
Create a positive and productive classroom environment with high expectations for behaviour and achievement
Support the development of schemes of work and share best practices within the department
Use data effectively to track progress and support pupil achievement
Contribute to the wider life of the school through clubs, enrichment or tutoring
Communicate effectively with students, parents and colleagues
Ideal Maths Teacher:
Hold QTS and a degree in Mathematics or a related subject
Be an excellent classroom practitioner with a passion for teaching maths
Have strong subject knowledge and the ability to inspire learners at all levels
Be reflective, resilient and committed to continuous professional growth
Be a team player with excellent communication and organisational skills as a Maths Teacher.
Have a positive attitude and a commitment to inclusive, high-quality education
