Role: Secondary Mathematics Teacher
Salary: £150 - £200 per day (dependent on experience)
Location: Stockport, Greater Manchester
Start Date: September 2025
Simply Education is currently recruiting a dedicated and enthusiastic Mathematics Teacher to join one of our valued partner secondary schools in Stockport this September. This is a superb opportunity to inspire and challenge students in a setting that values academic progress, professional development, and collaborative teaching.
The Opportunity
As a Mathematics Teacher, you will deliver engaging and well-structured lessons that help students develop confidence and competence in numeracy, problem-solving, and logical thinking. You will be teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4, with opportunities to teach Key Stage 5 depending on your experience and preference.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver high-quality Maths lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
Break down complex mathematical concepts and make them accessible to all learners.
Monitor and assess student progress, using data to inform planning and intervention.
Promote a growth mindset and resilience in the face of mathematical challenges.
Work collaboratively with the Maths department and support whole-school initiatives.What We're Looking For
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Subject specialism in Mathematics with strong curriculum knowledge.
A clear passion for teaching Maths and helping students overcome learning barriers.
Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
