About the Role
We're on the lookout for a Mechanical Assembler to join our Air Technology team in Sunbury-on-Thames. In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for assembling our high-quality fans and heaters, ensuring everything is built to specification, on time, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
* Assemble fans and heaters in line with technical drawings and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
* Operate hand tools, machinery, and measuring equipment
* Perform quality checks, tests, and inspections on assembled products
* Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents
* Maintain an organised, clean, and safe work area
* Accurately record production activity and any issues encountered
* Participate in Continuous Improvement and 5S activities
* Support team members and cross-departmental work as required
* Follow all Health & Safety protocols and company procedures
* Assist with training colleagues and supporting other teams where necessary
What We're Looking For
* Previous experience in assembly, manufacturing, or a similar hands-on role
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and instructions
* Good manual dexterity, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
* Basic understanding of mechanical (and ideally electrical) systems
* Soldering skills and experience with small component assembly (like model kits) would be an advantage
* Strong teamwork, communication, and time management skills
* Methodical, logical, and able to work independently
* Self-motivated, professional, and able to handle pressure
* Comfortable using basic IT systems
