Job Description
A Mechanical Deign Engineer is required for a World Leading Engineering Company based in the UK.
Job: Mechanical Design Engineer
Location: High Wycombe.
Salary: £30k - £40k dep. on experience. Excellent company benefits.
As the successful you will have the following knowledge and experience:-
* Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD); strong understanding of machining processes and materials.
* Attention to Detail: High precision in design work.
* Analytical Skills: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve design issues.
* Communication: Effective collaboration with engineering and production teams.
Key Responsibilities:
* Tool Design: Create detailed designs for tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures using CAD software.
* Technical Interpretation: Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and customer requirements.
* Collaboration: Work closely with engineers and machinists to ensure designs are feasible and meet quality standards.
* Prototyping: Develop and test prototypes to validate design concepts.
* Process Optimisation: Identify and implement design improvements to enhance manufacturing efficiency and product quality.
