SC Engineering is proud to be partnering with a leading engineering firm based in Haslingden, Lancashire, to recruit a Mechanical Design Engineer with a strong background in bespoke machinery and automation design.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

Lead and contribute to the design and development of custom-built machinery

Produce detailed 3D models and technical drawings using SolidWorks or similar CAD software

Collaborate with internal teams to deliver solutions from concept through to manufacture

Provide design input across multiple projects, ensuring specifications and timelines are met

Support continuous improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with industry standards

Degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline

Proven experience in mechanical design within the machinery or automation sector
*
Proficiency in SolidWorks; experience with other CAD systems will be considered
