Job Description
Salter Grange are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Engineer to be part of a high-performing team on a mission-critical project in London.
The Mechanical Engineer will be joining a Specialist M&E Engineering contractor involved in projects such as Pharmaceutical, Data Centre & Healthcare and be part of a hard-working ambitious team and you will benefit from a supportive culture, where your ideas and contributions will be recognised.
Mechanical Engineer Responsibilities:
Prepare risk assessments, method statements and all aspects relating to Health and Safety on site.
Liaise with the design team and supply chain to ensure correct operation of the plant on site and successful handover.
Ensuring that the technical issues are resolved without delay.
Attend and record regular supply chain meetings to ensure that progress is monitored and maintained within the overall construction programme.
Monitor and record progress on site against the construction programme.
Undertake regular meetings with the supply chain to maintain progress and to ensure resources are matched to the construction programme.
Experience/Qualifications Required:
Bachelor’s Degree Educated
At least 5 years’ experience in a construction management role
Excellent preconstruction and design experience with all Mechanical Systems
