MECHANICAL ESTIMATOR – CAMBRIDGE***
A well-established M&E building services company, known for delivering full-service solutions to blue-chip clients across the East of England, is looking to recruit a Mechanical Estimator for their Cambridge office.
The company provides comprehensive mechanical installations across a wide range of sectors, including commercial developments, hospitals and university and college facilities.
Role Overview:
You’ll join a skilled estimating team, preparing mechanical estimates for projects valued up to £10 million. Prior experience in a similar role is essential.
Main Responsibilities:
Engage with clients and potential clients regarding tender enquiries, maintaining a professional and responsive approach.
Attend site visits and tender interviews when required.
Work with internal departments to gather all necessary information for accurate estimating.
Review supplier and subcontractor quotes for compliance with specifications.
Support project teams with cost variations when needed.
What We’re Looking For:
Previous experience as a Mechanical Estimator.
Recognised mechanical qualifications.
Strong commercial and negotiation skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
