Job Summary
As a Mechanical Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for mechanical building services projects.
You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and commercial teams, ensuring precise cost planning and successful tender submissions.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed mechanical cost estimates for a variety of projects.

Analyse project drawings, specifications, and tender documents to determine scope and pricing.

Work closely with project managers and engineers to develop competitive bids.
*
Source and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing.
*
Attend pre-tender meetings and contribute to bid strategies.
*
Monitor market trends, material costs, and industry developments to enhance estimating accuracy.
*
Ensure that tenders are completed within strict deadlines.
Skills & Experience Required
*
Proven experience as a Mechanical Estimator within M&E, construction, or engineering industries.
*
Strong knowledge of mechanical building services, HVAC, and piping systems.
*
Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
*
Excellent analytical and numerical skills with a strong attention to detail.
*
Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders.
*
Ability to work on multiple tenders simultaneously, managing time effectively.
*
Relevant qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline are desirableBefore You Apply
