Job Description
Westlakes Recruit are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer with a background in a highly regulated industry on a permanent basis, to be located in Lockerbie.
Duties & responsibilities
H&S is adhered to
To undertake PPM on basic mechanical systems
To cover all maintenance of mechanical systems
To complete PPM in line with agreements
To undertake installation works such as improvements to the mill
To respond to break downs requests, providing a professional & timely service
To support the other members of the maintenance team between departments
Skills required
Recognised apprenticeship or qualification in mechanical engineering or minimum 5 years experience in mechanical fitting.
A good team player, but also able to work alone
Must be presentable & reliable
Able to build good relationships at all levels, internally & externally
The candidate must have the ability to communicate in English and understand written instructions
