A well-established leading Manufacturing company based in the Scarborough area is looking for a mechanically biased maintenance support engineer to join the business.
The successful Maintenance Support Engineer will have a varied role and be responsible for:
Maintaining and repairing press tools
Carrying out servicing and general upkeep on a range of equipment
Reactive and PPM around the plant
Support the investigation of machine breakdowns and advice to solve the problem when required
Working in line with all relevant standards, processes and site quality systems
Working closely with the full engineering team to support with a variety of tasks and projects
Use a variety of tools and press machines to cut and shape the tools
Experience with Lathes and Milling Machines
The successful Maintenance Support Engineer will have knowledge of machining and tool making, able to read from drawings and be a pro-active and diligent engineer. I am really keen to see your CV if you are a time-served Maintenance Engineer with a minimum of a level 3 qualification in an engineering field. This is a Monday to Friday role, 7.30am to 3.30pm with the salary is £35k before overtime
