Mechanical Operative - £30K -£35K - OTE £45K -£55K - 33 DAYS HOLIDAY - Progression Routes
As a Mechanical Operative, you will be part of a dynamic team working on high-profile projects. This role requires a hard-working individual who thrives in a demanding environment and is committed to completing tasks with a ‘right first time’ approach.
This role involves extensive travel and will require staying away for work. It’s a challenging, fast-paced environment, ideal for someone who thrives on hard work and variety.
What’s the Role as Mechanical Operative
*
Install and maintain a variety of mechanical apparatus and associated equipment.
*
Work with water-related pumping plants, including split-case pumps and vertical turbine pumps.
*
Carry out installation and maintenance on pumping plant infrastructure, pipework, and associated control equipment.
*
Adhere to health & safety policies and safe systems of work to ensure all tasks are completed correctly and safely.
What You’ll Need to be successful as a Mechanical Operative
*
Experience in mechanical or electrical work is advantageous.
*
Strong self-motivation with a willingness to learn and take initiative.
*
Ability to work well as part of a team.
*
A full, clean UK driving license.
*
Flexibility in working hours and willingness to travel and stay away as required.
