Job Description
Ionic Recruitment are currently looking for a Mechanical Project Manager on behalf of our client.
Introduction:
Our client, a well-established M&E contractor with a strong reputation in delivering complex commercial and residential schemes, is looking to appoint a Mechanical Project Manager. Based out of Liverpool with nationwide travel required, this is a permanent position offering a salary of £60,000–£65,000 plus package. You’ll be overseeing high-rise residential and multi-sector fit-out projects across the UK.
Job Responsibilities:
*
Lead mechanical works on large-scale commercial and residential projects from planning to handover.
*
Manage project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure delivery within programme and budget.
*
Review and interpret mechanical designs, ensuring technical compliance and quality standards are met.
*
Coordinate closely with electrical teams and site management for seamless integration.
*
Monitor progress, produce reports, and manage change control effectively.
*
Ensure all health & safety protocols and statutory requirements are adhered to.
*
Travel to sites nationwide as required, acting as the key mechanical lead.
Requirements:
*
Strong background in mechanical building services with proven project management experience.
*
Experience delivering large-scale commercial or residential schemes, ideally high-rise developments.
*
Excellent technical knowledge of mechanical systems and fit-out methodology.
*
Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
*
Flexibility to travel to sites across the UK as needed.
*
Relevant qualifications in mechanical engineering or building services.
