Mechanical Project Manager – Residential Projects
Location: Central London Projects | Essex-Based Office
Salary: £65,000–£75,000 (Permanent) or c.£300/day (Freelance)
A well-established mechanical contractor specialising in high-end residential projects is looking to appoint a Mechanical Project Manager within the next month. This is a flexible opportunity, open to both permanent and freelance professionals.
The Role
You will take responsibility for the mechanical services on residential developments across Central London. The role involves managing subcontractors, coordinating with clients and site teams, and ensuring successful project delivery. A background in ventilation or ductwork is highly desirable, and the ideal candidate will have come from a hands-on, trade-based background.
Key Requirements

Proven experience delivering residential mechanical projects

Strong understanding of ventilation and ductwork systems

Ideally an ex-tradesperson with a practical, hands-on background

Able to manage teams, subcontractors, and project timelines

Willing to travel to Central London and attend the Essex-based office as required
