Mechanical Service Engineer- Pumps/Hydraulics
£36,000 Per Annum
Newcastle Under Lyme
Mechanical focused Service Engineer needed to join a growing business with a great reputation.
You will support in the Installation and maintenance of large pumping equipment. The ideal candidate for this role will have some experience working within a service role and have a can-do, team spirited attitude.
Day to day duties.
* Working on site usually within the midlands
* Installing and maintaining plant machinery, which will include Pumps, valves, hoses and more.
* Attending breakdowns and repairing as required
* Ensure work is completed to a high standard
* Fault finding and diagnosis
* Looking after tools and equipment, including your van
* Ensuring lifting equipment is tested and in date
* Responsible for the safety documentation
* Completing comprehensive reports
Key skills for the Service Engineer position includes
* Time served engineer
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
* Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
* Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion

* 40 hours per week could include nights away from home (from time to time)
