Media Teacher – Outstanding School Opportunity Location: Middlesborough area (Specific school details will be shared with shortlisted candidates.) Start Date: September Contract: Full-time, Permanent. Are you an enthusiastic Media Teacher looking for a fantastic school to start your career as an ECT or further develop it and progress as an experienced Media Teacher? Are you committed to inspiring and motivating students? This 'Outstanding School' is seeking a well-qualified and enthusiastic Media Teacher to join their successful and well-resourced department. About the School: This is an 'Outstanding School' (Ofsted rated) with just over 1000 students on roll, aged 11-18 years. They offer excellent support and CPD for staff at all stages of their career, including ECTs. Ofsted found pupils at the school to be "happy, well cared for and that they secure excellent academic and personal outcomes". They described the students as "polite, respectful and courteous." The school is extremely proud of their pupils and of all their staff who contribute to the purposeful learning culture within the school. The Role - Media Teacher: * Teaching Media to GCSE and A-Level. * Inspiring and motivating students to achieve their full potential. * Creating a positive and engaging learning environment. * Contributing to the well-resourced Media department. Experience and Qualifications: * Degree in Media. * PGCE or QTS or other relevant qualification. * Experience as an Media Teacher, teaching to GCSE and A-Level. Salary: The salary for this Media Teacher position will be paid to scale on a permanent contract: MPS/UPS.
