MFL Teacher – Spanish & French – Hertfordshire – September 2025 Start
Are you a talented linguist looking to share your love of languages? A secondary school in Hertfordshire is looking to appoint a teacher of MFL (Spanish and French) from September 2025. This post would suit either an ECT or a qualified teacher ready for a new challenge.
You’ll be joining a dynamic and inclusive Modern Foreign Languages department with a strong track record of student achievement. You will teach both French and Spanish at KS3, with the opportunity to specialise at KS4 depending on your strength.
You’ll need:

QTS and experience teaching Spanish and/or French up to KS4

A passion for languages and intercultural understanding

An engaging classroom presence and high expectations of all students

The ability to plan creatively and contribute to extracurricular activities like language clubs or trips
