On behalf of our client, we are looking to recruit a Skilled MIG Welder based in the Rochdale area.
The successful candidate will be joining a sheet metal and fabrication company who are well established in the industry. In this role you will be working across diverse sectors, this role offers variety where you will be offered the opportunity to develop your skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform high-quality MIG Welding on stainless steel
* Interpret and work from detailed technical drawings with precision.
* Ensure reliability and punctuality while managing personal workloads effectively.
* Work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
* Maintain a high standard of work while adhering to health and safety protocols.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
* The successful candidates must have the ability to perform high level MIG welds that meet the Company’s quality standards and previous experience, and knowledge should include;
* Ability to use a variety of measuring equipment
* Able to read and understand engineering plans
* Fabrication experience is an advantage
* FLT Counterbalance an advantage
* IT literacy for data purposes
Hours of Work are Monday to Thursday 07:30 to 16:30/ Friday is 08:00 to 13:00.
