Job Description
Our Industrial Services team, in partnership with Power People, are currently recruiting MMA Welders for work in Plymouth starting ASAP.
Job Details
Location: Plymouth
Hours: Min 50 hours
Duration: 2-3 years
Pay Type: PAYE Umbrella
Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
Clearance: Current SC clearance would be advantageous
Rates
Std Day Shift: £34.50ph
Std Back Shift: £42ph
Sunday and Weekday Nights: £49ph
Sunday Back/Night shift: £46ph
Prestart Training
Delegates will need to undertake weld tests in MMA, including:
12mm butt weld in the overhead position.
25mm Plate (in two stages) one side vertical, then the backside will be horizontal.
25mm Plate (in two stages) firstly welded overhead then the backside welded in the down hand position.
Evidence of eye test (within the last 18 months) is desirable.
Approved operatives will have to pass some H&S online awareness courses as well (for which we will pay them 18 hours to complete in their own time, which they will get after completion of their first week on site)
