Job Description
Job Title: Mobile Construction Plant Engineer
Location: Buckinghamshire & Surrounding Areas
Salary: UPTO £50k + Company Vehicle + Fuel Card
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Are you an experienced Construction Plant Engineer looking for a new challenge with a global industry leader? Our client, a well-established international company with over 50 years of expertise in the sector, is seeking a skilled Mobile Construction Plant Engineer to join their team.
The Role:
As a Mobile Construction Plant Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance, service, and repair of piling rigs and crawler drills across Buckinghamshire and surrounding areas. The role is primarily field-based, with around 20% workshop duties.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose, repair, and maintain piling rigs and crawler drills.
Carry out planned maintenance and servicing on construction plant machinery.
Conduct breakdown repairs to minimise downtime and ensure efficient operation.
Maintain accurate service records and provide detailed reports.
Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
Provide excellent customer service and technical support.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Construction Plant Engineer or similar role.
Strong knowledge of heavy plant machinery, preferably piling rigs and crawler drills.
Ability to work independently and problem-solve under pressure.
Full UK driving licence (essential).
Relevant engineering qualifications (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent) preferred.
Experience working in a mobile engineering role.
