Location – Scunthorpe
Job Title – Mobile Service Technician
Salary –OTE up to £35,000
Monday to Friday 0800-17:00
Our client is currently seeking an experienced Mobile Service Technician to join their busy Service Department, offering a fantastic basic salary and other great company benefits. This is a Monday to Friday role and will include travelling around the area.
Key responsibilities for this Mobile Service Technician role are:
Manage your own schedule and revenue responsibilities while ensuring efficient time management.
Travel to customer sites to diagnose and assist with mechanical repairs where possible.
Inspect and report on vehicle condition, safety, performance, and potential defects.
Maintain proper documentation, seek approval before fitting unauthorised parts, and handle warranty returns appropriately.
Attend training courses as required and support apprentice development when assigned.
Minimum requirements for this Mobile Service Technician role are:
Qualified to a minimum of NVQ level 2 (or equivalent)
Experience in Diagnostic and using computers
Excellent customer service skills
Good technical knowledge
Must have a Driving License
The ability to work without supervision
Take responsibility for the quality and quantity of their work
