MRO Technical Manager – Civil Aero Engine Programs - China.
Our Aerospace client based in Shanghai, China, are looking to appoint an MRO Technical Manager to be engaged on their Civil Aero Engine Programs in Shanghai.
This will be a long term role. Fixed term contracts will be offered to the successful candidate. If you are interested to live and work in Asia, this opportunity will allow that to happen with plenty of time to explore this region, its culture and customs.
Job Description:
The MRO Program Manager will take a strategic leadership role in the planning and development of aero engine maintenance capabilities. Key responsibilities include:
Leading the planning and development of maintenance resources, capabilities, and business strategies for civil aero engines.
Overseeing the setup and infrastructure demonstration for engine overhaul operations, including the acquisition of resources.
Bringing in advanced MRO industry practices and management expertise to support the establishment of model engine overhaul and maintenance programs.
Supporting CCAR145 qualification processes and ensuring compliance across maintenance operations.Qualifications:
5–7 years of senior technical/engineering management experience in aero engine MRO operations - domestic or international.
In-depth knowledge of CCAR145 qualification processes and regulatory compliance.
Solid professional background in engine/component-level overhaul – from development through to implementation.
Familiarity with managing MRO suppliers and maintenance support networks.
Strong leadership, planning, and cross-department coordination skills.Preferred Background:
Preferred candidates may come from organizations such as:
Leading International Aero Engine companies, or other leading MRO providers.
Individuals with high-end expertise in maintenance planning, supplier management, CCAR145 unit leadership, and aero engine repair technology development.Candidates who are willing to live and work in Shanghai, China for 1 -3 years initial contract are invited to applyBefore You Apply
