Job Description

Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Dual skilled but a mechanical bias with electrical skills and qualifications is acceptable) Eggborough, Goole, East Riding of Yorkshire Up to £54k DOE (average real earnings in the region of £57k to £60k with bonus and over time based on 10 hours of overtime per month) Panama shift pattern (5 shifts one week, 2 the next, rotating, days and nights) How do you feel about working in a great environment, enjoying consistent improvement and investment, with a brilliant, supportive team, and a fantastic attitude to individual training and skill development? The business produces products that surround us all every day. There are a variety of processes and assets on site, great for keeping curious engineers challenged and interested. Processes include chemical processing, mixing and spraying, industrial ovens, machining, and an array of material handling, such as conveyors and vacuum stacking machinery. We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer with a background in manufacturing environments. The role requires an engineer with a dual skill set, including electrical qualifications but a mechanical bias will work in this role. The ability to perform basic electrical fault finding, basic testing, and electrical isolation is required. You will be working to support the ongoing proactive and reactive maintenance of company plant machinery utilising a digital CMMS and through the application of root cause analysis. The role offers a good mix of planned and reactive work while also allowing for contribution to site improvements and asset maintenance through the application of reliability centered maintenance practices. You will be working in both a team and individual capacity to deliver the site maintenance and improvement service, prioritising maintenance requirements and allowing for continuous fault-free manufacturing. Safety is at the forefront of everything at the site, you would be expected to support the application of safe working practices and systems. What you will need: * Formal qualifications in electrical engineering or electrical maintenance. * Proven industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience * Basic fault finding in PLC’s & HMI’s * A mechanical skill set including experience in pumps, bearing replacement, diagnosing problems in pneumatic and hydraulic systems gained from a multi-skilled environment * Working knowledge of root cause analysis and examples of identifying solutions to equipment issues to improve reliability. * What we are offering: * A competitive salary, up to Circa £54k dependent on experience (inclusive of allowances) * Additional earning opportunities are through bonuses and overtime.
