Multi-Trade Operative - Social Housing📍 Colchester and surrounding areas🛠️ Full-time | Competitive hourly rate
We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Multi-Trade Operative to join our client's team, working within the social housing sector across Colchester and nearby areas.We're looking for someone who takes pride in delivering a first-class maintenance and repair service to tenants and properties. If you're proactive, reliable, and customer-focused, we'd love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out a variety of maintenance tasks, including responsive repairs, void property works, and property MOTs.
Work across a range of trades, with a focus on carpentry, painting and decorating, tiling, and floor laying.
Apply basic knowledge of plumbing and electrical work where required.
Ensure all work is completed efficiently, safely, and within agreed timeframes.What We're Looking For
Proven experience in multiple trades, particularly:
Carpentry
Painting & Decorating
Tiling
Floor Laying
Basic Plumbing & Electrical
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
