The Role

Key Responsibilities
* Teaching and Delivering Lessons: Plan and deliver engaging music lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, ensuring all students are challenged and supported in their musical development.
* Fostering Musical Creativity: Encourage students to explore different musical genres and techniques, developing both their technical skills and their creativity in performance and composition.
* Assessment and Feedback: Regularly assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback, helping them to improve and achieve their full potential.
* Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues in the Music Department to share resources, ideas, and best practices, ensuring consistency and high standards across the curriculum.
* Extra-Curricular Activities: Support and participate in extra-curricular music initiatives such as school concerts, music clubs, and performances, providing students with opportunities to showcase their talents and further develop their skills outside the classroom.

* Qualifications: A degree in Music or a related subject, along with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a relevant teaching qualification.
