Your Role as Music Teacher Will Include:

Delivering high-quality music lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, and potentially Key Stage 5.
*
Teaching a broad and challenging music curriculum including performance, composition, listening, and theory.
*
Encouraging creativity and self-expression through a variety of genres, traditions, and musical styles.
*
Leading or supporting extracurricular activities such as school bands, choirs, and instrumental ensembles.
*
Participating actively in whole-school events, performances, and enrichment programmes.
*
Monitoring and assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
*
Contributing to the ongoing development of the Music Department’s curriculum and resources.
What We’re Looking For:

A qualified Music Teacher (QTS/QTLS or equivalent) with a strong subject knowledge and a passion for the arts.

Experience teaching music across a range of abilities and age groups.
*
A creative, reflective, and enthusiastic approach to music education.
*
Commitment to inclusion and the belief that every student can achieve through music.

The ability to inspire and motivate learners through dynamic and engaging teaching.
*
A team player with excellent communication and organisational skills.
*
An Enhanced DBS check on the update service, or willingness to obtain one prior to starting.
