Pay Range: £160 - £240 per day
Working Hours: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
Overview:
A vibrant and forward-thinking Secondary School in the Farnborough area is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Music Teacher to join their team on a full-time maternity cover basis, starting either in June or September 2024 and continuing until Easter 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4, sharing your passion for music in a supportive and creative environment.
Whether you're an experienced practitioner or an Early Career Teacher looking to develop your classroom expertise, we encourage your application. The school is also open to overseas-trained Music Teachers with relevant UK curriculum experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality and engaging Music lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
Foster a stimulating classroom environment that encourages creativity, performance, and musical appreciation.
Plan, assess, and report on student progress in line with curriculum standards.
Contribute to the extra-curricular life of the school, including school concerts and music clubs.
Work collaboratively with department staff and the wider school community.

Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Music.
Experience teaching Music at KS3 and KS4 level.
A genuine passion for music education and nurturing student talent.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
