NDT Technician

Are you a Level 2 Qualified Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Technician? If so, we'd like to hear from you as our client, a leading test and inspection company, are seeking an experienced technician to join their dynamic and established team at their Dorset site.

The Role
As an NDT Technician, you’ll:
Carry out Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) inspections on a wide range of components — from castings and weldments to composites and machined parts. Your work will ensure full compliance with customer requirements and strict quality standards.
Perform NDT inspections using Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Radiography, Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI), and Penetrant Testing (DPI).
Conduct Fluorescent Penetrant Inspections across various components.
Support daily operations — from booking jobs and generating certificates to handling goods in and out.
Maintain consumables and equipment with control checks to ensure testing integrity.
Keep your workspace clean, organized, and HSEQ-compliant.
Support team training to help colleagues achieve further NDT Level 2 qualifications.
The Person
The be considered for the role prospective candidates need to hold Level 2 EN4179 Ultrasonic Inspection certification or equivalent, such as PCN Aero Level 2.
You will also ideally have experience with static MPI benches and penetrant lines and previous experience in a test house or similar environment would be highly advantageous.
Knowledge of additional NDT methods for also prove beneficial, as would a valid forklift licence and PCN Level 2 General certificationBefore You Apply
