Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled Senior Neonatal Staff Nurse for a temporary contract. This is an exciting opportunity to provide high-quality care to neonates in a well-established health care setting. The role requires recent UK-based experience, a valid professional registration, and a commitment to delivering excellent patient care in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide neonatal care to newborns in critical or specialised care units
Work effectively within the multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest standards of care
Assist in the assessment, planning, and delivery of individual patient care
Maintain accurate and timely patient records in line with clinical guidelines and procedures
Respond to medical emergencies and assist with the stabilisation of neonates when necessary
Supervise and mentor junior staff and contribute to their professional development
Ensure compliance with all clinical standards and regulatory requirements
Contribute to the ongoing development of clinical practices and quality improvement initiatives
Requirements:
Recent UK experience in a neonatal or similar health care setting (essential)
Valid NMC registration as a Registered Nurse (RN) with the necessary specialist qualifications
Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
DBS check and proof of any relevant clearances
