Job Description

Are you a motivated self-starter who thrives on hitting targets and winning new business? WasteRecruit has been retained to support the recruitment of a New Sales Consultant to drive growth in a fast-moving, high-impact environment. This is a field-based role where your ability to generate leads, build relationships, and close deals will shape the future of our sales success. You’ll be responsible for developing your own pipeline while also managing warm internal leads. If you’re driven, professional, and thrive in a results-focused setting, we want to hear from you. Key responsibilities • Deliver £50,000+ in monthly revenue through new customer acquisition • Qualify prospects and manage an active sales pipeline using Microsoft Dynamics • Book and complete 10+ meetings per month, with 2+ same-day appointments as standard • Make a minimum of 30 outbound calls per office-based day • Achieve one national or group deal per quarter • Ensure 60%+ of closed business comes from new leads • Complete quotes and engagement letters within five working days • Track all communication through phone systems and CRM • Return to base before 4:00 p.m. to begin quotes if fieldwork is complete What we’re looking for: • A confident communicator who listens, adapts, and presents with clarity • Organised, structured, and always planning ahead to maximise time and outcomes • Tech-savvy, especially with CRM tools and performance tracking systems • A self-motivated hunter who thrives on opening doors and building new relationships • Focused on efficiency and improving your approach each day • Accountable, results-oriented, and able to work independently You will excel if you can: • Treat the role like your own business—owning wins and learning from losses • See every conversation as a chance to add value and uncover opportunity • Spot areas for improvement and share ideas boldly with the team • Build trust through professionalism, preparation, and smart decision-making We reward initiative, drive, and results.
