Job Description
Are you an experienced Machine Operator looking to step up and take on more responsibility? We are seeking a dependable and proactive Machine Assistant to support the smooth and efficient running of a night shift production line in a well-established and fast-paced environment.
You will work closely with the Machine Supervisor, supporting the wider team and acting as a key point of contact on the shop floor.

Location: Farnham, Surrey
Salary: £40k per annum
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 10:00pm – 6:00am

Assist with machine setup, calibration, and basic troubleshooting
Monitor production runs to ensure quality and output targets are met
Support the Machine Supervisor in coordinating the shift’s workflow
Perform regular checks and adjustments to maintain smooth machine operation
Help train and guide newer team members on machinery use and safety procedures
Record and report any faults or production issues promptly
Promote and maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and compliance across the lineSkills, Experience, and Training Requirements:
Previous experience operating machinery in a production or manufacturing setting
Strong awareness of machine safety and operational standards
A hands-on approach with the confidence to support junior team members
Good attention to detail and a methodical mindset
Reliable
