Non Medical Prescriber
Staffordshire
Full time hours on a temp contract with an ongoing requirment
Monday to Friday
Rate - £22.50 - £23.50 per hour
Responsibilities of the role
The role is to provide a safe, evidence-based clinical recovery-focused prescribing service for people who use alcohol and/or substances, delivering Non-medical prescribing sessions daily Monday to Friday.
Delivery of regular Independent NMP clinics weekly depending on the service need
Provide expert support to new NMPs and all prescribing, nursing and recovery staff
To support the development of non-medical prescribing countywide with the Clinical Lead
Provision of healthcare treatments and procedures (including health screening, blood borne virus screening) for people accessing our service in line with the public health and wellbeing agenda
Support and train staff in substance use disorder and alcohol related disorders
To provide clinical supervision on a monthly basis to staff in the absence of Clinical Lead
To line manage nursing/recovery staff as required
To deputise for the Clinical Lead in their absenceRequirements and additional information
