We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Childminding/Nursery Assistant to provide exceptional care for children in a safe and engaging environment. Nursery Assistant - Responsibilities:
* Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
* Manage daily routines, including meal preparation, nap times, and playtime.
* Communicate regularly with parents about their children's progress and any concerns that may arise.
* Provide a safe and nurturing environment by ensuring the well-being of the children at all times.
* Assist with educational activities as needed.
* Implement effective discipline strategies to encourage positive behaviour.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of play areas and children's belongings.
Nursery Assistant - Requirements
* Proven experience in childcare or early childhood education is essential.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
* Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
* A genuine passion for working with children and fostering their development.
* Ability to drive is preferred but not mandatory; must have a valid driver's licence if applicable.
* Knowledge of early childhood education principles is advantageous.
* Must be patient, reliable, and adaptable to changing situations.
