Free CPD and Constant Support with interviewingEmpowering Learning have fantastic opportunities for level 3 Nursery Nurses to join a well-established nursery based in Newham, East London. If you have experience of working in a nursery and hold a qualification in childcare, we would love to hear from you.
Person Specification:
Childcare qualification up to level 3
Sound knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and aware of the 7 different areas of learning and development
Paediatric First Aid is desirable
Caring and patient mannerResponsibilities will include:
Supporting children's learning in a safe, secure environment.
Building positive relationships with parents
Working with EYFS curriculum and planning age-appropriate activities.
Key worker responsibilities, keeping of development records and observations.
Preparation, care, cleanliness and maintenance of the playrooms and equipment.
Accurately competing nursery documentation to include accident, medication, and risk assessment records.
Supporting children at mealtimes and with personal care.
Participating in staff meetings, parent evenings, and children's outings.
