Location: Romford, London Borough of Havering
Position: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary, Permanent
Start Date: Immediate
Salary: £12.90–£16 per hour (dependent on experience and qualifications)
About the Role:
Vision for Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Assistant to join a welcoming early years setting in Romford. The successful candidate will support the development and learning of children aged 0–5 years, assisting in the delivery of high-quality care and education. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive environment, contributing to the growth and development of young learners.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the planning and delivery of engaging activities that promote children's learning and development.
Support children's social and emotional development, fostering positive relationships.
Help maintain a safe and stimulating environment for children.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the nursery.
Communicate effectively with parents and carers, providing updates on children's progress.
Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for individuals who:
Have experience working in an Early Years setting.
Level 2/3 qualification in Early Years Childcare.
Demonstrate a genuine passion for working with young children.
Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
