Location: Newcastle Upon Tyne
Contract: Full-Time

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Nursery Room Leader to join our dedicated team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified early years professional to lead a room and make a meaningful impact on children’s early development and learning.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the daily running of the nursery room, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment.
• Plan, prepare, and implement engaging activities in line with the EYFS curriculum.
• Support and mentor room staff, promoting high standards of care and education.
• Monitor and record children’s progress, ensuring individual learning needs are met.
• Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health and safety, and all nursery policies and procedures.
• Participate in regular team meetings and staff development sessions.
Candidate Requirements:
• Must hold a full and relevant Level 3 qualification or above in Childcare/Early Years (e.g., CACHE, NVQ, or equivalent).
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a nursery setting.
• Sound knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Strong leadership and organisational skills.
• A passion for early childhood development and a nurturing approach.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Up-to-date DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
