Job Overview:
A well-established and highly regarded primary school in Wandsworth is seeking an experienced Nursery Room Leader to lead their nursery team. This full-time, permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of young learners in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) while fostering a nurturing and dynamic environment.
About the Role:
* Lead and manage the nursery room, ensuring a high standard of care and education for all children.
* Plan, deliver, and assess engaging and child-centered activities in line with the EYFS framework.
* Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating environment for children’s emotional, social, and cognitive development.
* Mentor and support a team of nursery practitioners, providing guidance and professional development opportunities.
* Track and assess children’s progress, providing tailored support to help each child reach their full potential.
* Build strong relationships with parents and carers, offering regular updates on children’s development and wellbeing.
* Ensure a safe, clean, and well-organized learning environment in line with health and safety regulations.
