A fantastic opportunity has become available for an experienced Occupational Health Manager to join a forward-thinking organisation on a permanent, full-time basis. This role offers the chance to lead and shape Occupational Health services across a dynamic and diverse workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
Leading the Occupational Health team to ensure effective service delivery
Overseeing clinical case management, including complex referrals and return-to-work assessments
Managing health surveillance activities such as audiometry and spirometry
Supporting the development and implementation of health and wellbeing initiatives
Delivering nurse-led clinics and overseeing pre-placement health assessments
Ensuring all service provision aligns with current legislation, clinical standards, and best practice
Providing expert advice and guidance to managers and stakeholders
Essential Criteria:
NMC Registered Nurse with relevant post-registration experience
Occupational Health qualification (Diploma/Degree level)
Proven experience in a managerial or senior clinical Occupational Health role
Skilled in clinical decision-making and managing complex cases
Strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
Desirable:
Experience in health promotion and wellbeing campaigns
Background in public sector or safety-critical environments
Experience leading on service development and improvement initiatives
