Occupational Therapist (3-Month Contract) – Up to £30/hour
Location: Medway, Kent (Hybrid – Office, Field & Home-Based)
Salary: Up to £30 per hour
Contract Type: Temporary - 3 Months
Job Description:
We are looking for a qualified and experienced Occupational Therapist to join Adult Social Care team. This role is essential to delivering high-quality, person-centred services that meet individual needs in line with statutory duties under the Care Act and other key legislation.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct person-centred assessments and interventions.
*
Manage a caseload and make independent clinical decisions.
*
Participate in the duty rota (one day per week in the office at Gun Wharf).
*
Collaborate with health professionals, carers, and other teams.
*
Travel across Medway and beyond as needed.
Requirements:
*
Recognised Occupational Therapy qualification & HCPC registration.
*
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undertake one).
*
Must be a car driver with business insurance.
*
Experience in Adult Social Care and a commitment to safeguarding.
*
Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams.
*
Knowledge of relevant legislation and care models.
*
Willingness to supervise others (Practice Educator status desirable).
