Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our office. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills and have a knack for team management. This role is pivotal in ensuring that the office runs smoothly and efficiently, supporting both staff and clients with professionalism and courtesy.
Responsibilities
* Manage daily office operations, ensuring a productive work environment.
* Maintain office supplies and equipment, ensuring everything is in good working order.
* Handle clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and managing correspondence.
* Implement and maintain office policies and procedures to enhance efficiency.
* Utilise QuickBooks for financial record keeping and reporting.
* Utilise Sage Payroll to process weekly and monthly payroll
* Assist with human resources tasks, including onboarding new employees and maintaining personnel records.
* Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and external partners to foster positive relationships.
* Organise meetings, prepare agendas, and take minutes as required.
Skills
* Strong administrative skills with high attention to detail.
* Excellent phone etiquette and communication abilities.
* Proven experience in supervising teams and managing personnel.
* Proficiency in clerical tasks with a focus on accuracy.
* Familiarity with QuickBooks, Sage Payroll & Zoho is advantageous but not a necessity.
* Solid understanding of human resources processes.
* Exceptional organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
