Job Description
Sharp Consultancy are delighted to be working alongside a well-known Yorkshire based firm as they look to recruit an OMB Tax Semi Senior to join their team in Sheffield.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone currently working in a mixed /personal tax role to join an award-winning tax department working on a highly unique portfolio of corporate and personal clients.

What you’ll be doing:

Supporting with a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring full compliance with UK tax laws and regulations.
*
Working closely with the Tax Manager in overseeing the tax team and driving departmental objectives.
*
Prepare and review tax returns, along with related documentation.
*
Provide expert tax planning and advisory services to clients.
*
Handle correspondence with HMRC and other relevant tax authorities.
*
Assist in mentoring and developing junior team members.
What you’ll need:
*
A background in Tax, Accounting, or a related discipline.
*
Previous experience in a similar role within the Professional Services sector.
*
A solid understanding of UK tax laws and regulations.
*
Excellent communication skills.
*
The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
