Operations Accountant – Livingston – Up to £65,000
Chase & Holland are excited to be working with a FMCG organisation that boasts impressive market share, who are looking for a dynamic, continuous improvement focused Site Operations Accountant to join their passionate leadership team. You will report directly to the Financial Controller; you will have the responsibility and freedom to make your mark.
As Operations Accountant be responsible for a large production site, whilst working alongside the wider leadership team to provide insight that genuinely shape our commercial and operational success.

25 days + BH’sOperations Accountant responsibilities will include:
Deliver accurate, real-time insight on site performance, from yields to labour efficiencies.
Lead the development of financial reporting tools that support better, faster decision-making.
Act as the key finance lead on cross-functional projects—validating investments and championing cost-saving initiatives.
Prepare detailed, board-level capital expenditure proposals and support R&D claims.
Improve how the business connects financial goals with operational execution—across all levels of the site.
Ensure robust controls, clean reporting cycles, and full transparency across finance and operations.
Trusted partner of Plant Director and plant leadership team
Lead weekly and monthly reporting for the site, including the preparation of and providing insight into the monthly Plant Continuous Improvement
Required Skills & Experience:
Qualified or later stages part qualified ACCA/CIMA
You will need to have worked ideally in FMCG or manufacturing with high volume
Ability to explain financial information to non-finance managers in a way they understand
IT literate including ERP systems and strong experience on Excel (pivots, lookups)
Strong analytical and communication skills
Track record of delivery and a continuous improvement mentality
