~ Dairy Producer ~
Co. Cork | €80,000 - €85,000 | Full-Time | On-Site | Mon-Fri

This is a rare opportunity to join a premium dairy producer with an expanding national presence, a strong retail customer base, and a commitment to quality and innovation.
Our client is an Irish-owned artisan dairy manufacturer producing high-quality, small-batch products from locally sourced milk. Operating for over a decade, they have built strong relationships with major national retailers and maintain the highest standards in food safety and compliance.
This is a hands-on leadership role in a modern, purpose-built plant producing a niche dairy range that includes soft and grilling cheeses as well as yogurts.
The role
You'll be responsible for ensuring efficient and high-quality production output while maintaining AA-rated BRC compliance.
You'll oversee production planning, staff management, food safety, and work cross-functionally with farm partners to ensure raw material quality. While the role is not farm-based, it does include a weekly alignment meeting with the supply side.
Key responsibilities:
Oversee production operations in line with quality and output goals
Maintain and continuously improve BRC standards
Lead and support a team of production operatives
Communicate with suppliers to troubleshoot minor equipment issues (mechanical/electrical knowledge not required)
Uphold hygiene, food safety, and regulatory requirements
Collaborate with senior leadership on strategy and continuous improvement
