* Established, successful, and growing SME manufacturing and product assembly business looking to appoint an Operations Manager to lead and deliver operational transformation.
* £30m t/o, 150 headcount organisation, growth plan in place, diverse product range and customer base.

Do you want to join a business looking for an Operations Manager to lead the operational transformation of a manufacturing / product assembly business?
Your background as an Operations Manager:
* Experience of working in an Operations Manager, Head of Operations, Production or Manufacturing management focused role with a track record of improving productivity and output.
* Experience of working in a manufacturing or production or product assembly environment is preferred.
* We are looking for an Operations Manager who can lead operational transformation but in a collaborative way.
* A hands-on approach to optimising the operational functions of the business is required.
* You will be a strong leader of people – coach, develop and mentor people but be happy to challenge when necessary.
* We are looking for a candidate that will thrive working in growing SME manufacturing business looking modernise their operational processes to continue to delivering industry leading products.
Operations Manager responsibilities:
* Strategic and operational responsibility for production, manufacturing, warehousing, and supply chain - – 90 team members approx. across all functions.
* This is a 75-80% product assembly and 20-25% manufacturing environment (1.5m-2m units per year).
* Lead the implementation of lean manufacturing methodologies and enable a culture positive to change and modernisation.
* Set and agree targets for operational efficiency and increased productivity and provide leadership and support in their delivery.
* Identify opportunities to increase capacity through process analysis, data collection, cross functional collaboration.
* Coaching and mentoring of your team (Team Managers / Leaders).
