Operations Manager
£40,000 - £45,000
Newton Abbott, Devon
Great opportunity here to join a prestigious company in a senior role! You will have 4 direct reports and 40 indirect.
The Role:
Lead and manage the team across 2 production shifts.
Identify continuous improvement opportunities across the production and warehouse areas and help drive the change.
Ensuring site KPIs are achieved.
Promote food safety and quality standards.
Ensure the department is audit compliant at all times.
Assist in the development of the weekly production plan.
Promoting and engaging in cross departmental teamwork.
The Candidate:
Experience working within a Food / Drink Manufacturing environment.
Must have previous Managerial / Supervisory experience.
Must be organised and happy to work under pressure.
Experience and awareness in BRC / HACCP / ISO 14001/ GMP Audits.
Must enjoy being hands on and enjoy training and developing people.
Excellent people skills including coaching and developing staff.
H&S knowledge and experience, ideally IOSH Managing Safely as a minimum.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement Techniques.
Flexible with working hours to fulfil roles and responsibilities across both shifts.
